Microfame

Tell some random guy you met Al Pacino and they'll be like woah.

Tell some random guy you met Sanford Meisner and they'll be like who?

Tell Al Pacino you met Sanford Meisner and he'll be like woah.

Sanford Meisner is an acting teacher, famous to actors and nameless to anyone else.

Martin Fowler is famous to programmers and nameless to anyone else.

David Carson is famous to graphic designers and nameless to anyone else.

Cory Kennedy is famous to Lindsay Lohan, and nameless to anyone else.

Fame might be shrinking.

But the moral of the story is simple: keep your camera on.
